In the hidden mountain village of Cheon Uri, unknown to the world, live the mangryang dokkaebi.
After losing her grandmother, her only family, Seung-hyo seeks solace by moving to the rural village of Cheon Uri to work at its health center.
Upon arriving in Cheon Uri, Seung-hyo gets lost and meets Bong-i, a young villager. While Bong-i unexpectedly offers help, his attitude remains somewhat cold. He even urges Seung-hyo to leave the village as soon as possible.
