I tend to/generally, I hate slow-burn romances where they're extremely/significantly drawn out without enough romantic progress (i.e. when the MCs take over 50% of the series to even start dating, sometimes even 80% in. Or when they don't even confess until the very end. Also, when they both know that they have feelings for each other, but don't do anything about it), but with these stories, it's tolerable; I might like the rest of the story, the characters' dynamic, or already know for a fact/have seen the ending and know that it's very happy, and then decide to push through it. If that's the case, I'll add them here. An example is When Jasy Whistles by Cibeles--it's my second all-time favorite book, even though it's a slow-burn, so there are obviously exceptions to the rule. This is usually because it is at some point revealed that the MCs, or at least one of them, had feelings for the other since early on (they might even have fallen in love at first sight); they are however still slow-burns since y
