Zoe is a clumsy witch who sets off on a journey in search of freedom from the Isle of Wizards. After arriving in the unknown village, Zoe marries her fated partner—but tragically loses him in an accident shortly after the marriage. Grief-stricken, Zoe struggles to find meaning in her life without him until she encounters Eliza, a ladybug who has also recently lost her husband. Soon after that, Zoe finds out that her friend, Sisyka, has been widowed too.

United by their circumstances, the three women begin their journey of witch training.
